Up till now no words from the abductors.
The FCT police command also has no information about the abductees
A resident, Shuaibu Dantani, said the victims, who were mostly women, were abducted on their way from a wedding in Abaji Area Council on Saturday 10 December 2022 .
He said the gunmen flagged down the vehicle conveying the victims and whisked them away, and that, “A man riding a motorcycle on his way to Rubochi who nearly ran into the kidnappers returned to the village and raised alarm.”
Dantani said family members of the victims were yet to establish contact with the kidnappers.
The Agabe of Gwargwada, Alhaji Hussain Agabi Mam, who confirmed the incident through telephone to our reporter on Sunday, also said they were yet to establish communication with the kidnappers.
