Ahead of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration exercise, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB) has warned candidates against engaging in multiple registrations.

This warning was contained in a statement signed by the Director, Test Administration Department, Mrs Ville  Pius, and made available to JAMBulletin. In her words, “Multiple registrations are not allowed in the 2024 UTME exercise, candidates, who register more than once would be identified, disqualified and prosecuted.

Furthermore, the Director explained that in the event of any error during the registration process, candidates “are to approach the Board for necessary corrections rather than obtaining fresh application documents as they would be deemed to have engaged in multiple registrations, which could invalidate their applications.

The statement, therefore, urged candidates to read and understand the various guidelines on registration as well as the set of instructions related on the Board’s advertisement on registration, among others, on how to complete the registration process.

Meanwhile, prospective candidates are also reminded that upon the completion of registration, they would be required to sign an MoU on compliance with ethical standards guiding their applications.
