In a powerful move to deepen the discourse around women and children’s rights in Nigeria, the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) – Kwara State Chapter in collaboration with the Faculties of Law at the University of Ilorin, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, and Redeemer’s University, Ede, has issued a Call for Papers for an upcoming publication titled:

📘 “Women and Children’s Rights: A Reader in Honour of Hon. Justice Funsho Dada Lawal”

At a time when access to justice remains a formidable challenge for many women and children globally, this scholarly initiative seeks to highlight solutions, lived experiences, and policy directions that can protect the most vulnerable. The deadline for submission of extended abstracts is May 31st, 2025, while full papers are due by August 31st, 2025.
