Zamfara Governor Emphasizes The Importance Of Work Place Ethics And Other Ingredients Of Good Governance.

The Governor of Zamfara state, His Excellency Dr Dauda Lawal has emphasized the importance of Work place Ethics,Attitudinal Changes,and Best Practices as panacea for Good governance, development and decision-making.
The Governor stated this while declaring open a 4- Day Capacity Building Workshop on Attitutinal Change, Workplace Ethics and Best Practices in the state.
The workshop was the second after the earlier training held in August, 12-16 2024.
The workshop focused on protocol officers, media and security as well as Principal aides of the Governor and his Deputy.
This time around, 120 participants  underwent training, mainly senior government officials and appointees, including Commissioners, Heads of Government Agencies and Parastatals, as well as, Directors of sensitive ministries.
The workshop was organised by A& B Executive Protocol Consultants Limited.
The Governor, commended the Consultants for a job well done  for organising the workshop at this time, as the key components, namely, attitudinal changes, work Ethics and Best Practices,would go a long way to impart positively on the entire work force of the state.
The Governor strongly aligned with the organisers’  efforts in adding value to Zamfara state senior government officials, stating that,this would enable them put in place modern ways of doing government business and community relations.
With the calibres of the participants, the Governor reiterated his commitment to deliver good governance to the people of the state through effective and meaningful service delivery.
In  his speech, , Amb. Mohamed Ibrahim Bashir, one of the Chief Consultants, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Lawal for creating a very conducive and enabling environment for the workshop to take place. He assured the Governor that at the end of the training sessions, participants would have had adequate knowledge of the the key components.
He said “ participants will learn key issues including Attitudinal Changes in the workplace, planning and time management, interpersonal and personal relationships” among other key Ethics
In attendance were the Executive Governor, the Deputy Governor, Mani Malam Mummuni, the Emir of Gusau and other very senior government officials, including Chief of Staff, Head of Service, Hon. Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries.
