Manchester United legend Gary Neville has heaped on Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison.
According to him, Richarlison truly comes on his own in international football.
The Brazilian joined Antonio Conte’s side from Everton for a sizable €58 million fee in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian forward has struggled to make an impact at the club despite playing in 10 Premier League games this season with only two assists to his name.
He was selected to lead the Brazilian attack by Coach Tite despite his lack of goals for Tottenham
And Richarlison scored twice against Serbia, netting a brilliant brace, including a jaw-dropping scissor kick.
Neville was left mesmerized by the striker’s second-half acrobatic goal against Serbia and claimed the Tottenham man was better suited for international football than club football.
Neville told HITC, “In England, we are so used to Jesus. We pick Jesus, then you see this from Richarlison. He has been outstanding for Brazil.
“Jesus played in the last tournament and didn’t score in those five games and the coach has carried that over. That is world-class [against Serbia).”
