It is obvious that billionaire industrialist, Rasaq Okoya, is fond of his youngest wife, Shade.

Those who are close to the family maintain that shade is an archetypal embodiment of the phrase, ‘Behind every successful man is a successful woman’. They insist that Shade is not just a trophy wife, but a goal-getter who has changed the face of the family business.
Aside from being a wife and mother to four children, she is also a businesswoman and philanthropist, who has many awards and recognitions to her name.
Shade studied Banking and Finance at Lagos Polytechnic, Isolo, Lagos; and went on to bag a degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos.
She is the Managing Director of Eleganza Fashion Products Limited, Eleganza Cruise and Travels Limited; and a director of Eleganza Group, RAO Investment Property Company Limited; and Deputy Managing Director of Eleganza Industrial City Limited.
The socialite, who will turn 46 on April 25, 1977, has also been involved in philanthropic activities, such as sponsoring the Folashade Okoya Kids Cup, which held its maiden edition in December 2014 in partnership with the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association.
She also holds different titles, including being the Bewaji of Lagos, Otun Aare Iyalaje of Ajiranland, Yeye Oge of Epe Land, Ajisewa of Oke Ona Egba, and Patron of the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria.
In 2014, the European American University awarded Shade a honourary doctorate in Business Management and Corporate Leadership.
Over time, her husband has saluted her for making a difference in his life. He has often described her as hardworking and loyal.
