The Three Lions will start the game as favourites, but African champions Senegal pose a serious threat to England’s hopes of progressing in Qatar.

Who could England play in the quarter-final?
If England beat Senegal, they will play the winner of the round of 16 game between France and Poland.
That game is taking place today at 3pm (Sunday, December 4).
France topped Group D with six points, courtesy of a 4-1 win over Australia and a 2-1 victory over Denmark.
Didier Deschamps rung the changes for Les Blues’ final group game against Tunisia having already qualified, and they were subsequently beaten 1-0 by the north Africans.
Meanwhile, Poland finished as runners-up in Group C behind Argentina.
The Poles drew 0-0 with Mexico in their opening game, beat Saudi Arabia 2-0 in their second and were then defeated by the Argentines 2-0 on matchday three.
When would England’s next match be?
England’s potential quarter-final game with France or Poland would be on Saturday, December 10 at 7pm.
The venue would be the 69,000 capacity Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
The stadium was the setting for England’s 0-0 draw with the USA in their second group game.
