The full focus of the England team will be on their World Cup round of 16 game against Senegal on Sunday.
But Three Lions fans will very much be looking ahead to England’s potential next games in the knockout rounds of Qatar 2022 if they can overcome the West Africans.
We take a look at who England could play next in the quarter-final, semi-final and final if they beat Senegal, and the dates and times they could feature.
Who could England play in the quarter-final?
If Gareth Southgate’s men get the better of Senegal, they will play Group D winners France or Group C runners-up Poland.
The match would be held on Saturday, December 10 at 7pm.
The venue for the match will be the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, which hosted England’s 0-0 draw with the USA.
Who could England play in the semi-final?
In the event that England overcome France or Poland, on current group standings they will play one of Croatia, Japan, Portugal or Switzerland.
The semi-final would take place on Wednesday, December 14 at 7pm.
The Al Bayt Stadium would once again host the Three Lions.
Who could England play in the final?
If England make it all the way to the final, they would likely play one of Spain, Brazil or Argentina, or potentially even Germany if they beat the Japanese to the runners-up spot in Group E.
However, England could also have a date with destiny against the likes of Netherlands, USA, Australia, Uruguay or Morocco, depending on results.
The final will be staged on Sunday, December 18 at 3pm.
The 80,000-capacity Lusail Stadium has been chosen as the venue for the final as the largest stadium in the country.
England have not played in a World Cup final since they beat West Germany 4-2 after extra time in the 1966 final at Wembley.
