How is Nigeria one united country when a former Governor of Zamfara, now nominated Minister, has submitted a resume for confirmation that will not qualify him for the job of a Cloakroom attendant in any of the southern 17 States of Nigeria?
I support one hundred percent the sentiments offered in the video shown below which clearly debunks the notion, in my judgment, that Nigeria must remain one country by force and by fire.
I am suggesting that it makes sense for Biafra, Oodua and Arewa Republic to be allowed to have their own autonomous Governments like is done in Canada where Ontario, Quebec and other Provinces are self governing under the umbrella of the Federal Government based in Ottawa,
Justin Prudeau who originally came from Quebec is current Prime Minister. The next Prime Minister could predictably come from Ontario or any other Province.
Our Federal Government of Nigeria will be responsible for Defense and Foreign Affairs while each Province or Region would exist and function as autonomous states with little or no direct control by the Federal Government at the center.
The American Presidential System which Nigeria has foolishly plagiarized would be jettisoned and replaced with a less expensive system that would better guarantee the peace and stability of Nigeria.
Each region or province can then develop at their own pace without being held to ransom by the weaker states which are not as advanced as Quebec and Ontario.
The Southeast and the Southwest have suffered for too long under a Federal Government controlled by the weakest arm of the Nigerian Tripod.
We can still remain one country but under a confederal system like what obtains in Canada.
