Unite To Salvage PDP From Potential Extinction– Bode George

Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, has urged party leaders to unite and salvage the PDP from potential extinction.

At a reconciliatory meeting in Lagos. Acknowledging the party’s poor performance in the 2023 Lagos State governorship election, George urged leaders to unite and save the PDP from potential death.

Highlighting the significance of addressing past mistakes and fostering unity, George stressed the importance of cooperation among members from all regions.

He said the urgency of the situation, needed to fortify the party before the 2027 elections. Although the party’s governorship candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, was notably absent.

George said, “We should do everything humanly possible to ensure PDP does not go into the dustbin of history in 2027. God forbid this should happen to our party.”

Phillip Aivoji, the party’s Chairman, echoed George’s sentiments, underlining the importance of reconciliation in fostering a stronger and more cohesive PDP. Aivoji emphasized forgiveness, understanding, and a shared commitment to moving forward together.
