Chelsea defender, Ben Chilwell has told his teammate, Mason Mount that his injury is not looking good.
The England international was injured during the Blues’ last group game against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Wednesday, becoming the latest World Cup doubt.
Chiwell pulled up clutching his left hamstring in the closing stages of the game and was forced to leave the pitch.
And as the former Leicester City star left the pitch, television cameras caught him telling Mount that his hamstring had ‘popped’.
When asked about the severity of Chilwell’s injury, Chelsea manager Graham Potter said: “It doesn’t look positive.
“It’s a hamstring. We will have to scan it and see how it is.”
