UCL: Jamie Carragher backs Arsenal to qualify for quarter-final after 1-0 defeat to Porto

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has backed Arsenal to beat Porto and qualify for the Champions League quarter final.

Arsenal lost 1-0 against Porto in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie on Wednesday in Portugal.

The Gunners will host Porto in the second leg in March.

However, Carragher feels Arsenal will overturn their 1-0 deficit and score two or three goals against Porto.

Speaking on CBS Sports, Carragher said:

“I think Arsenal have enough. There will be a great atmosphere there.

“I think they will get two or three goals and it will get them through.”
