U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles defender, Agbalaka makes group stage best X1

Flying Eagles defender, Solomon Agbalaka has been named in the CAF Best X1 of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations group stage.

Agbalaka is the only Flying Eagles player who made the selection.

The left-back has been one of the standout performers in the competition.

The youngster was named Man of the Match in the Flying Eagles last two games against hosts Egypt and Mozambique.

Agbalaka has scored once and provided one assist in three outings for the Flying Eagles in the competition.

The Flying Eagles will play Uganda in the quarter-final at the Suez Canal Stadium on Saturday.
