Operation Safe Haven, a multi-security taskforce maintaining peace in Plateau, parts of Bauch and Southern Kaduna says the corpse of the slain Fulani leader, Adamu Idris, is yet to be found.

Idris, who was the Ardo (leader of the Fulani) in the Panyam District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, was killed Saturday evening.

The late Idris was alleged to have been killed while returning from a visit to the District Head of Panyam, and the whereabouts of his corpse remains unknown.

Captain Oya James, the spokesperson of the operation, on Monday, explained that a search team had been deployed to the area to look for the corpse, saying that the command would do everything possible to find it.

According to Captain James, the perpetrators of the act would surely be arrested and brought to book.
