Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have neutralised seven bandits, destroyed several of their camps as well as seven motorcycles in Shinkafi local government area of Zamfara state.
This was contained in a statement by the director, defence media operations, Defence Headquarters Abuja, Major General Musa Danmadami, and made available to newsmen in Gusau, Zamfara state capital.
Danmadami said the troops have also recovered two empty AK 47 magazines and one Baofeng radio.
He said, “Following the arrest of a terrorist informant on 21 April 2023, troops conducted a follow up operation and arrested two terrorists on 22 April 2023 at Shinkafi town, Shinkafi local government area in Zamfara State”.
“Items recovered from suspects include one (1) motorcycle and three (3) mobile phones”.
“The military high command commended troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities”.
