Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has left Erik ten Hag’s side to join Greek Super League side Panathinaikos on a permanent transfer.
The Red Devils announced this in a statement on their website ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton this weekend.
“Everyone at the club would like to wish Facundo the very best of luck with his new club, and thank him for his efforts here,” Man United’s statement partly read.
Pellistri made his maiden appearance under Man United manager Erik ten Hag in the Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Charlton Athletic in the 2022-23 season.
The Uruguay international also started the Champions League clash at Bayern Munich last season.
The 22-year-old had a loan spell at Spanish club Granada in the past.
