Former Flying Eagles forward, Chukwubukem Ikwuemesi is undergoing medicals at Serie A club, Salernitana ahead of a permanent transfer.
According to reports emanating from Italy, Salernitana has reached an agreement with Slovenian club, NK Celje for his transfer.
Ikwuemesi was previously close to linking up with Ligue 1 club, Le Havre before the deal fell through.
A move to Latvian club, Riga FC also failed to materialise.
The 22-year-old registered nine goals and five assists for NK Celje last season.

He featured for the Flying Eagles at the 2020 WAFU B U-20 Championship.
