In a shocking turn of events, former Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), David Parradang, was found dead in a hotel room in Abuja. The circumstances surrounding his death have sparked confusion and speculation, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

Reports initially indicated that Parradang had been abducted following a bank visit where he withdrew cash. However, the Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigeria Police Force quickly refuted these claims. According to FCT Police Spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, Parradang’s demise occurred after he hosted an unidentified female guest at Joy House Hotel, located at Area 3 Junction.

On March 3, 2025, Parradang checked into the hotel, paying N22,000 for a night’s stay. After escorting his female guest to his room, she left around 4:00 PM. Concerned for his welfare, a military officer friend visited the hotel in the early hours of March 4, only to discover Parradang deceased, seated in a chair.
