Tommy Fury will box former UFC title challenger Darren Till in January as he looks to extend his unbeaten record.

The bout will take place on 18 January at Co-Op Live in Manchester and will be shown on DAZN PPV.

The 25-year-old Fury is 10-0 as a professional, although those victories have come against very low-level competition.

After dispatching eight journeymen, Fury’s last two victories came over stars of the influencer boxing scene, Jake Paul and KSI.

He now takes on a man who will be making his professional boxing debut in Till, although someone who has plenty of experience in combat sport.

The Liverpool native has a background in Muay Thai and was unbeaten in his first 18 professional MMA bouts.

This led him to a shot at the UFC welterweight title in September 2018, but Till suffered his first professional loss, beaten by submission by Tyron Woodley.

The 31-year-old’s pro career fell apart somewhat from that point, losing four of his next five bouts after that defeat and ultimately leaving the UFC last year.

Till has since been chasing high profile boxing bouts and has now landed it against Fury in Manchester.

In an Instagram post, Fury simply wrote: ‘I’M BACK. Co-Op Live, Manchester.’

Fury got a shout out from his old for Paul after the American out-pointed Mike Tyson on Friday night.

Asked if Iron Mike was his most powerful opponent to date, Paul said: ‘I would say Tommy Fury because it’s the shot you don’t see.

‘So, Tommy was a little tricky and, what I mean by that is, like if you see the punch coming, you could prepare for it.

‘If you’re going into something and you can’t see it, and then all of a sudden you get hit, that’s when it hurts.

‘So Tommy was more tricky with that but Mike’s punches, I could see coming. He was strong but he didn’t land anything clean so, I honestly didn’t feel Mike Tyson’s full power but that’s good.

‘You don’t want to, so I was just moving, staying elusive and the only thing he was kind of landing was that hook.’
