“Tiwa Savage paved the way for me” – Ghanaian singer, Amaarae

Ghanaian-American singer, Ama Serwah Genfi, professionally known as Amaarae, has stated that Nigerian music icon, Tiwa Savage paved the path for her in the African music industry.

During an interview on Ghana’s 3FM 92.7, she made the claim and said that the ‘All Over’ crooner has always been encouraging of her.

Amaarae, who appeared on Tiwa’s Tales By Moonlight, named the Nigerian Singer one of her favorite collaborators.

The singer claimed she admires the former Mavin first lady because of how devout, generous, and modest she is, despite the fact that she is the top female performer in the music industry.

She claims that Tiwa often checks on her and her mother, and she was completely astounded by how she always interacted with her.

In other news, Cuppy donated £100,000 to Oxford University as part of her initiative to support African graduates at the university.

Cuppy, who recently graduated from Oxford with an MSC in African studies, established the ‘Cuppy African Oxford Fund’ as a scholarship fund for Africans.

She took to her Instagram page to announce the fund, which is intended to support future African leaders by providing them with the necessary skills, resources, and networks to maximize their impact across Africa and beyond.

She went on to say that her goal for the next ten years is to help people achieve their full potential through education. Read here
