One person has been reported injured when a tanker went up in flames on the Airport road in the nation’s capital.
According to officials, two other persons escaped without injuries.
The tanker, which was conveying petrol, was heading towards the city centre before the incident.
Officers of the Federal Fire Service, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NCDC, the Police and the Federal Road Safety Corp were able to put out the fire.
The affected lane was also blocked until the area was certified free for movement.
The tanker was later cleared off the road, to prevent any accident.
However, none of the officials wants to speak on camera.
