Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen, on Wednesday returned to full training at his club Napoli after surgery on his face.
The Super Eagles striker was taken off during their 3-2 defeat in Serie A to Inter Milan on November 21.
The Napoli forward clashed heads with Inter Milan player, Skriniar and was replaced by Andrea Petagna.
The 22-year-old striker underwent surgery with his club announcing that he would be out of play for at least three months.
The earlier statement released by the club had meant the Nigerian would miss the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon in January.
Osimhen who has missed four matches following his injury could be back in play in their clash against Leicester City on Thursday in the Europa League.
Napoli in a post on its Instagram account wrote, “Come on Victor!!”
