Nigeria’s Super Eagles are through to the final of the African Cup of Nations after defeating South Africa in Wednesday’s semi-final clash.
It was a match the Super Eagles would have won at regulation time of 2 goals to 0. but the refree listened to VAR looking back to an earlier infraction at Eagles 18 yard box to award a penalty to Bafana Bafana.
The match then went inti penalties after 120 minutes of football ended 1-1.
The Super Eagles scored four of their penalties while Bafana Bafana missed two of theirs.

This is the first AfCON final for the Super Eagles in 11 years.
