It was with great excitement receiving Sonia Patterson at the Muritala Mohammed Airport Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

Sonia Patterson, a philanthropist and the founder of Sonia Patterson Cares Foundation was welcomed in grand style by some of her beneficiaries, volunteers of her foundation and members of the press.

With all excitement, she granted an interview and she chatted on how she loved the Nigerian weather and the hospitality she received. She told the press on how she intends to extend her long charitable hands to the needy children on the streets of Lagos, the elderly and orphanages. She also gave an insight on also visiting Asaba in Delta State to execute some of philanthropic projects and also feature in a movie produced by her titled Cheaters Paradise- The Web of Deceit Series. Great actors like Queen of the South, Uche Odoputa, Emeka Maicon and Sharon Ifedi also featured in the movie. The Cheaters Paradise Ent. & Int. Awards is scheduled for September 23rd, 2023 at Ochid Hotel, Asaba Nigeria.

Patterson came in with her daughter Keisha Williams and they spent two weeks in Nigeria putting smiles on the face of Children and the elderly. She was honoured with an award of Appreciation by Mr Emeka Amakaze and presented by a Nigerian popular movie actor John Batiki (Shaggy Bee) for her philanthropic personality and on how she has rescued a lot of Nigerians from poverty.

It was a great joy for Patterson to have met for the first time a boy called Blessed she adopted prior to her visit to Nigeria. She was happy to have been able to change the boy’s life and she hope to see him grown into a fine and successful young man who will also carry on her legacy of charity.

During her stay in Nigeria, she also had the feel of the entertainment industry, attended Nigerian parties, visited fun centres like beaches and also tourist centres in Lagos and Asaba.

She appreciated her staff and volunteers of her foundation, most especially Mr Rica Oyama Missang (who has been the backbone of the foundation and whose effort cannot go unnoticed) and Mr Uchenna Aliri (Executive Secretary and PA of the Sonia Patterson Cares Foundation) who made her visit a successful and memorable one. She said she will surely miss Nigeria and she will be back next year to have more philanthropic projects executed but she will be landing first in Ghana to stretch her kind heart to Ghanaians and she hope to continue this charity of hers throughout her lifetime.
