Chelsea are still trying to sell six more players before the end of the transfer window as their summer of enormous change continues.

The likes of Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, Robert Sanchez and Lesley Ugochukwu have all arrived at Stamford Bridge, while there are more signing to come.

The Blues have agreed a fee for Southampton’ Romeo Lavia while they have also triggered the release clause on Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise’s contract, so both deals are thought to be imminent.

There have also been plenty of outgoings as well, though, with Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Cesar Azpilicueta and Mason Mount among a long list of departures.

There could be a fair few sales to come, though, with the Evening Standard reporting that six players are still on the transfer list this summer.

Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech are all reported to be available for transfer, if a decent bid comes in from any suitors.

That is despite Gallagher starting Chelsea’s opening game of the season and looking pretty good in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, while Maatsen came off the bench in that game as well.

Gallagher is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for his place, clearly in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, although he may swiftly drop down the pecking order when Caicedo and Lavia are ready to compete for a spot in the first team.

Maatsen is a versatile player who can play across the defence and in midfield, with Pochettino clearly rating the 21-year-old, so he may also want to keep hold of him, despite the club keen to make a few more sales.
