The Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan on Wednesday 1 June 2022 failed to secure the maximum three-point thus sliding down the ladder in the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) week 33 match played at the mainbowl of the Lekan Salami stadium Ibadan.
The Oluyole Warriors which came from a goal down forced the visiting Remo Stars Football Club of Remo to a 1- 1 draw in the pulsating derby.
With this development, 3sc fortunes deemed when they should have consolidated on the eleventh position in the league organised by the League Management Company (LMC).
Remo Stars opened scoring in the 8rh minute of the game through a penalty kick which the visitors converted while the homes equalised in the 11th minute in a goal mouth melee.
Thereafter, both teams failed to increase the tally with the visitors dominating for the better part of the first half the encounter.
3sc seemed to wake up from their slumber in the 2nd half of the match after coach Edith Agoye Introduction of three players in the 2nd half but this did not bring the desired result even as the fans booed the centre referee for making questionable calls which cleared was to the disadvantage of the Shooting Stars.
