Shooting Stars captain sets target for new season

Shooting Stars captain, Omololu Waheed has expressed optimism in the team’s ability to perform well in the ANigeria Professional Football League next season.

Omololu said there is healthy competition in the team.

He also hinted that players recruitment is done on merit without favouritism.

“I must confess, the level of competition within the team is quite interesting,” he told Shooting Stars Media.

“Every player wants to fight his way through into the final squad for the season.

“With what I’m seeing, the calibre of players, the zeal and the commitment as well as the level of discipline, I believe we will have a strong side for the new season.”
