A small plane broke mid-air,crashed in pall of flame and killed seven on board in Brazil South- east Minas Gerais State.
Authorities reported that the single-engine plane disintegrated mid-air and crashed at approximately 10:30 am (1330 GMT) on Sunday 28 January 2024 in the mining town of Itapeva, according to information from firefighters.
Firefighters discovered seven fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft, marking a somber outcome to the incident. Initially, it was reported that three bodies had been found, but an updated statement from the fire department confirmed the higher toll.
The ill-fated plane, affiliated with a private company, was en route from the city of Campinas in the state of São Paulo to Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais at the time of the accident.
