A popular actor, Muyiwa Ademola, has said that his ‘rare creativity’ is the secret behind his relevance.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, the actor said, “I have been acting for over 30 years. If I were to add my secondary school years, we would be looking at 35 years. It has been by the grace of God. The journey is not as smooth as it seems. But, I have kept my head straight, and I remained focused because I know my creative gift is rare. I had been writing stories since my elementary school days, and that was what motivated me to pursue a career in the movie industry. I thank God for where I am now, even as I aspire to do more.”
On what gives him the momentum to keep acting, Ademola said, “For me, acting is more like a calling. I feel unfulfilled each time I try to do something else, so I have made up my mind that acting is a commitment I must fulfill. No matter what else I do, I will do it alongside filmmaking. I am glad that my films have touched many lives, and many use lessons in my films as a yardstick to do certain things in their lives.”
