Ndukuba said electing a credible candidate as president would go a long way in addressing myriad of social, political and economic challenges starring the country in the face.

He stressed that the 2023 general elections would determine the fate of Nigeria and urged the citizens not to shy away from performing the Constitutional obligation of voting

He reminded Nigerians on the need to exercise patience with any elected president because it would take such person time to find lasting solutions to the nation’s problems.

Ndukuba enjoined INEC to conduct free, fair and credible polls where every vote counted and to also ensure that no voter was disenfranchised.

He expressed worry at Nigeria’s rising debt profile; a development he said was capable of subjecting unborn generations to become debtors.

“The government has wonderful programmes to alleviate poverty, but how many poor people have really been helped?’’ he queried.

“We are trusting in God that whoever is coming in as president will be someone who will serve the people.

“There will be a new dawn; a new Nigeria where no tribe will be preferred ahead the other.

“The agitation you are seeing around Nigeria is because justice is denied and where there is no justice, there will be no peace,’’ Ndukuba added.

He commended Nebo for retiring in strong health in the service of the Lord, saying that the retiree distinguished himself in other fields including academics and politics. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
