The Iyalode of Lagos and the mother of the Chief Executive Officer of Oando Plc, Wale Tinubu, Bintu-Fatima Tinubu, turned 80 on Saturday, July 1, 2023, and a party, which was attended by top socialite and dignitaries, was held in her honour at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, on Sunday, July 2 2023
The Who is Who in Nigeria’s political, business and corporate scene turned up for the carnival-like 80th birthday celebration of Chief Mrs Bintu-Fatima Omosefe Tinubu. The array of dignitaries joined her children, one of whom is Wale Tinubu, the group Chief Executive Officer of Oando PLC, her grandchildren as well as extended family members to celebrate a woman so much loved by the people of Lagos State at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.
However, the President of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu was unable to attend the ceremony due to official engagements. However, he found time out of his tight schedule to pay Chief Mrs Bintu-Fatima Omosefe Tinubu a private visit at her residence to congratulate her.
