Ogun State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwasina Ogungbade, has charged management and staff of the Ministry of Justice to be more dedicated to duties as well as strive to achieve more in the new year.
Ogungbade stated this at the Ministry’s prayer session organised to usher in the year 2025 at its Conference Hall, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, imploring them to key into the cardinal programmes of the present administration in order to achieve more in the new year.
The Attorney General, represented by the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Olusegun Olaotan, appreciated and acknowledged the roles played by the Law Officers and Staffers in the previous year, urging them to make the new year a success, by loving God and avoiding laziness towards accomplishing their set goals.
In his remarks, Olaotan appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for creating an enabling environment and a robust welfare package for officers and motivating them to put in their best.
He encouraged officers to work in unity, love and forgive one another as it would provide a peaceful working environment and improve team spirit, while admonishing them to seek knowledge, represent the agency positively and not rest on their oars.
The Assistant Director, Commercial Services, Oluyemisi Aruleba while delivering a message titled, ‘Abiding in God’s Presence, the pathway to success in the year 2025’ admonished staffers to be determined, disciplined, ready to learn, ensure punctuality and eschew arrogance, to help achieve greater success, adding that wisdom from God makes one do the right thing and overcome evil at all times.
Highlight of the programme, was presentation of cash awards to 27 outstanding officers for their commitment and dedication to duties.
Responding on behalf of the awardees, Bunmi Ladega and Omowunmi Ogidan, appreciated the state government and the Ministry for the kind gesture, pledging to put in more efforts in their service delivery in the new year.
