Office of president requires vibrant, committed citizen, says activist | Newspot

Leader of the New Nigeria Mandate (NNM), Olufemi Oguntoyinbo, has said that the office of Nigerian president, more than ever, requires a vibrant and committed citizen, who is willing to rescue the country from the doldrums.

Oguntoyinbo, who recently declared his intention to contest the 2023 presidency, said he is equal to the task of pulling the country out of uncertainties, even as he described his decision as fulfilment of divine ordination.

The 41-year-old said it was unacceptable for a country so richly endowed to wallow in economic challenges. According to him, the missing link is leadership: selfless, sincere, servant-leadership, guided by the highest sense of equity and fairness, adding that his dream is to build a country that can compete with world powers.

“For many Nigerians desirous of contributing their quota to the development of their country, my presidency will make this possible.”
