With profound sadness and unwavering submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of a cherished soul, Late Barrister Osamuyi Omosun (née Imasogie), who answered the call to glory on March 21st, 2025, at the age of 51.

Born on January 13th, 1974, Osamuyi was a pillar of love, faith, and quiet excellence. She was a woman of many gifts—a distinguished barrister and a passionate Montessori educator who nurtured young minds with patience, creativity, and compassion. Her commitment to justice and her devotion to childhood development reflected a life anchored in purpose and service.

Beyond her professional achievements, Osamuyi embodied compassion, strength, and humility in equal measure. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal daughter, and a sister whose presence was deeply felt and now sorely missed. Her home was a haven of warmth, her words a source of comfort, and her smile a constant reminder of God’s grace.

She leaves behind a legacy woven in kindness and purpose—a life that inspired all who knew her. Her passing has left an indelible void in the hearts of her father, mother, husband, children, brothers, and sisters, who take solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind and in the assurance of eternal rest.

In a deeply moving message sent to the Newspot Nigeria Editorial Board on March 22, 2025, her husband—our friend—wrote:
“Unfortunately, my beloved wife didn’t make it. Lost her yesterday to cancer. God knows best.”
His words, though few, carried the weight of love, grief, and unshakable faith. We mourn with him, and we honor the remarkable woman he loved so dearly.
