NPFL: Ikorodu City ready for second stanza challenge – Doherty

Ikorodu City chairman, Sanmi Doherty says the team is aware of the challenges they will come up against in the second half of the season.

The Oga Boys have fared well in their maiden campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Nurudeen Aweroro’s side currently occupy sixth position with 28 points.

Doherty declared that his team will fight hard to survive the storm.

“We are aware of the second round challenges and we are working hard to survive the storm and achieve our season target.” Doherty stated in a statement on X.

Ikorodu City will take on Sunshine Stars in their opening fixture of the second round in Ikenne later this month.
