Ikorodu City head coach, Nurudeen Aweroro, has attributed his team’s 1-1 draw with Remo Stars to loss of “concentration”.
The Oga Boys rallied from a goal down to earn a share of the spoils in the game.
Ibrahim Shuaibu opened scoring for Remo Stars after eight minutes.
The lead lasted for 82 minutes before Chineme Chinonso levelled the score for Ikorodu City.
“In the game of football, a coach must expect to win, draw or lose. It didn’t work out as planned for us but I still believe we did our best.
“This game has made me to understand that we still need to work harder if we want to remain in the league next season.
“The major problem we had in the game was losing concentration. We lost concentration and paid for it. We were supposed to concentrate from the beginning of the game to the end against a team like this.
“Losing our concentration against a team like this became a big problem for us and we paid for it,” he said.
