The Nigeria National League has advised clubs to validate their participation in the 2023-24 Nigeria National League season.
The Chief Operating Officer of the league, Ayo Abdulrahman, made the announcement in a circular sent to all the clubs.
Abdulrahman frowned at the slow pace of response from clubs towards the start of the new season.
He said all the participating clubs must meet the requirements stated by the league body.
“We have listed five major criteria of legibility for the clubs to be part of the league, which they must ensure they comply with,” he told NNL media.
“First is the issue of club licensing and regulatory requirements.
“Others are financial, medical, infrastructure, legal and administrative requirements to be met by the clubs.”
The new season will start on Saturday, October 28.
