The Chief of Staff, Directorate of Chaplain Services Protestant, Nigerian Army, Rt. Revd (Lt. Col) Joseph Njoku, has said Nigeria needs the right leadership that would give it a sense of direction and rescue it from its current challenges.

The military officer, according to a statement on Sunday, stated this during the graduation and the maiden convocation of Anchor Leadership Academy held in conjunction with Anchor International Youth and Teen Work Academy at the West Africa Theological Seminary, in Ipaja, Lagos.

Njoku said, “Nigerians cannot pretend to admit that the country is safe with challenges of kidnapping, armed robbery, banditry and terrorism ravaging the country coupled with the unpalatable state of the economy. Hence, the country needs the right leadership to give her a sense of direction.”

In his address, the President of Anchor International Outreach Ministry, Pastor Bolarinwa Omotosho, noted that “The church is the solution to the ills in Nigeria today and if the leaders can release their members that have the pedigree to participate in politics and are supported, the country would experience a positive change in Nigeria politics.”
