Niger Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, dissolves boards, parastatals

The Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, has dissolved all statutory Commissions, Boards, and Parastatals in the state.

Secretary to the state government, SSG, Abubakar Usman, in a statement on Monday, said the governor, terminated all political appointees given portfolios before May 29, 2023.

He directed that those affected hand over all government property including official vehicles in their possession to the most senior Director in their respective organizations and appreciated their respective contributions within the period of their stewardship
