The committee was constituted to receive petitions and complaints of aggrieved members.

Speaking to newsmen in Minna, the Treasurer of the group, Eli Ndache decried the non-appearance of the Appeal Committee mandated to receive complaints and petitions in respect of the just purported APC state congresses in Niger State.

He explained, “We all paid appropriate fees into a designated bank account provided by the party for nomination forms, issued teller as evidence of payments for various positions but was denied screening.”

Reacting to the development, the elected Niger South Zonal Chairman, Mohammed Sidi Saba, lamented the way and manner the party is conducting its activities without considering its status and pedigree,.

He alleged that the Jikantoro team did not purchase forms as instructed by the party, while accusing the state congress committee chairman, Ahmed Suleiman Wambai of contravening the party’s guideline with his refusal to conduct screening.
