NEWSPOT DAILY TONIC: Yesterday is not today and today is not tomorrow. By Bishop Duke Akamisoko

Each day is a new opportunity for you to do YOU … because no one can do it better
Don’t compare yourself with other people; compare yourself with who you were yesterday.
Yesterday is but today’s memory, and tomorrow is today’s dream.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. If you fell down yesterday, stand up today.
Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present
Today’s mighty oak is just yesterday’s nut, that held its ground.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you? The two are so, so different. One is an infinite consciousness capable of being and creating whatever it chooses, the other is an illusion imprisoned by its own perceived and programmed limitations.
Life constantly presents the greatest opportunity brilliantly disguised as the biggest disaster.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning
Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Yes, Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
Learn From Yesterday, Live for Today at it best, hope for the best for tomorrow. Always expect the best as you what you expect you finally get.
Often, We usually lose today, because there has been a yesterday, and tomorrow is coming. Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today. As, Procrastination is the bad habit of putting of until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.
One reason we are so harried and hurried is that we make yesterday and tomorrow our business, when all that legitimately concerns us is today. If we really have too much to do, there are some items on the agenda which God did not put there. Let us submit the list to Him and ask Him to indicate which items we must delete. There is always time to do the will of God. If we are too busy to do that, we are too busy.
Yes with strong faith, We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday’s burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it.
You don’t have to reinvent the wheel every day. Today you will do what you did yesterday, and tomorrow you will do what you did today. Eventually you will get somewhere.
With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
Success is not obtained overnight. It comes in installments; you get a little bit today, a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate, you lose that day’s success.
Tomorrow you promise yourself will be different, yet tomorrow is too often a repetition of today.

Both Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8 declare that God is the same always and never ever changes. He is always good, always loving, always all-powerful. No matter how this world changes around us, we can trust God is consistent. He is the same yesterday .

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
