When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength. Tough times never last, but tough people do. Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts. Anyone can hide. Facing up to things, working through them, that’s what makes you strong.
Sometimes you don’t realize your own strength until you come face to face with your greatest weakness. The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it. The best way out is always through. It is a common experience that a problem difficult at night is resolved in the morning after the committee of sleep has worked on it.
Part of being a man is learning to take responsibility for your successes and for your failures. You can’t go blaming others .Seeing somebody else’s success as your failure is a cancerous way to live.
We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday’s burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it. Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Life is very interesting. In the end, some of your greatest pains become your greatest strengths. Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of a greater or equal benefit.
Finally, Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.
