Impossible! How often to you hear that word? How often do you use it? You think it’s impossible to get that dream job, impossible to accomplish your goals and vision. But guess what? God specializes in doing the impossible. Whether you’re wanting to pursue your life-long dreams, or you’re struggling to makes ends met, God doesn’t see either one as impossible. You must build your faith in God and His ability to do the impossible in your life! In tough times, faith can make a difference.
What is faith?
One definition is that faith is believing in the unseen. God asks us to believe in Him though we do not see Him. Yet when we step out in faith and believe in Him, we begin to see evidence of Him everywhere.
Faith has great power. With faith the impossible becomes possible, the hopeless find hope and the weary find strength.
Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation. Faith is a sounder guide than reason. Reason can go only so far, but faith has no limits. If we cannot believe God when circumstances seem be against us, we do not believe Him at all. Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.
For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. It is the belief that God will do what is right. Faith consists in believing what reason cannot. Faith is the gaze of a soul upon a saving God.
Faith is a living and unshakable confidence. A belief in God so assured that a man would die a thousand deaths for its sake.
Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live?’” (John 11:25)
