Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has shown up at Times Square to support Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya as he sets to break the Guinness World Record.

Adekunle Gold currently remains the only Nigerian public figure who has appeared at the venue to cheer the philanthropist on.

Recall that the founder of Chess in Slums Africa had revealed that he would be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon in New York.

Adekunle Gold showed up at the venue not only to cheer the chess master on but to donate to the cause as well.

The artiste donated thousands of dollars to the cause, including new iPads and essential livestream equipment.

The singer could be seen in a video shared on X(Twitter) telling Tunde to carry on as he is solely behind him.

Fans and supporters of both public figures have trooped to the comment section to appreciate the artiste for his support.
