A shocking video capturing the moment an elderly man was spotted doing carpentry work to survive has prompted social media users to call for help.
The video shared on TikTok @iam_david002 revealed the elderly man working earnestly as he struggled to stand upright, using the equipment at the same time.
The young man stated that the elderly man had come to his compound to work but he felt emotional seeing the man struggle. He had to assist the elderly man while he was working.
The elderly man couldn’t execute his job well as he found it difficult to utilize the equipment.
However, the young man has called out for help and netizens have taken action to render financial assistance for the elderly man.
While some speculate that the elderly man could have abused his youthful days, others blame the Nigerian economy for the man’s hardship.
