The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, on Saturday, began the social register programme for vulnerable people living in the Makoko area of Lagos State.
During her visit, she distributed food items to riverine dwellers in the community.
She also conducted a free medical programme for the residents.
