Matheus Cunha is a doubt for Wolves’ Premier League match against Chelsea on Monday due to illness.
The 25-year-old returned from his two-match ban during Wolves’ 3-0 defeat away to Newcastle United on Wednesday night.
Cunha has been Wolves’ star performer this season with 10 goals and four assists in 20 Premier League appearances so far.
However, he could miss Wolves’ trip to Stamford Bridge on Monday night if he fails to recover from an illness he has suffered this week.
‘Today he was out of the training because he’s got a flu,’ Pereira said on Friday.
‘He is a bit sick, but I hope tomorrow he will be on the pitch, and maybe if he’s on the pitch training, it is a possibility to play the next game.
‘Semedo is training and Toti is recovering. He’s recovering well and I believe [he will return] in one week, maybe, I’m not a doctor.
‘But Toti is recovering well, Bouba [Traore] is working with us now after the injury in the knee and Sasa [Kalajdzic] is working with the medical department.’
Wolves currently sit 17th in the Premier League, level on points with 18th-placed Ipswich but out of the relegation due to having scored more goals.
Pereira’s side are without a win in their last three Premier League matches, while Chelsea have not secured a victory in their last five league games.
Enzo Maresca’s side could also be without Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez, Levi Colwill and Romeo Lavia for their game against Wolves.
