Mason Mount is facing yet another spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury which rules him out of Sunday’s clash with Liverpool.
The Manchester United midfielder endured an injury-hit first campaign at the club following his move to Chelsea.
He started United’s opening matches of the season against Fulham and Brighton but was forced off at half-time against the Seagulls last Saturday.
Mount complained of an injury, prompting Erik ten Hag into what he hoped would be a precautionary change.
But the club have now confirmed the 25-year-old is sidelined again, not expected to return until after the September international break at the very earliest.
