Rising Nigerian singer, Oladokun Abimbola Elijah, popularly known as Bayanni, has disclosed that a prophet had previously informed his mother he would become a musician.

The “Ta Ta Ta” crooner claimed that was the major reason his family did not forbid him from pursuing a career in music. He said that the man of God who had given his mother the prophesy when he was a child had instructed her to assist him when he ultimately showed interest.

On a recent edition of Hip TV’s ‘Trending’ program, Bayanni recalled the childhood memory while being interviewed by media personality, KimOprah.

The Mavin signee further stated that before receiving the record contract, Don Jazzy appeared to him four times in his dreams. According to the 26-year-old, he saw himself working with Don Jazzy in the studio and the vision eventually came true after he got signed.

Bayanni said;

“When I told my parents that I was going to do music fully, they didn’t object. They just said, ‘okay’. That was when my mum told me about something that happened when I was little.

She said a prophet told her that there would be a time when I would tell her that I want to do music and she should support me. So, when I told her [I wanted to do music], she let me. She already knew that time would come.”
