Manchester City will host holders Liverpool in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp will lock horns again just days after the World Cup final in the tie of the round.

Manchester United meanwhile will host Vincent Kompany’s Burnley with Leicester City heading to MK Dons.

Southampton and Wolves have home ties against Gillingham and Lincoln respectively while Eddie Howe will take on his former side Bournemouth when Newcastle host the Cherries.

Erik ten Hag’s side booked their place in the fourth round after a 4-2 win over Aston Villa on Thursday night.

Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay were on the score sheet after Villa took the lead through Ollie Watkins. Liverpool meanwhile edged past Derby County after a penalty shoot-out at Anfield.

Everton meanwhile suffered a miserable 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth with Frank Lampard’s side in action at the Vitaly Stadium again on Saturday.

Fourth round ties are set to take place on 21 and 22 December – just days after the World Cup final.
